There is one more option that you should think to enable :- "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager" under the "ACL Options" tab to help prevent these types of emails: "Reject SPF failures"

You will need to allow incoming/outgoing connection to port 8090 in the firewall of the server. :)

There is only option available in the cPanel to use %from% in the From to display name of the sender of the message. :)

Have you tried repairing database on the old server?

Make sure domain name used in the recipient address is registered and active, check here : who.is If its active then paste here logs or bounce back message.
