I found the reason for this, if a domain (does not matter which one) has setup DNSSEC on the server this error appears. When I removed the DNSSEC entries everything works again. So DNSSEC is breaki...

I have this problem too. After reboot of server I always have to goto the "Cluster" area of the WHM and press restart of the affetcted nameserver.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did check /etc/hosts and it is the same as on the old server. The SQL server is also running with bind = 0.0.0.0 but no luck yet. :)

The webserver dns server was set to "Disabled". I installed PowerDNS on it and now everything works. :) Thank you.

It's enabled in the Feature Manager and all DNS Only servers are running PowerDNS.

Any idea why the dnssec option does not show in zone editor (see attachment).
