To update on a possible solution to this it appears the ClamAV version installed was not provided by cPanel, as I did not install this myself it seems most likely it was an old version of Imunify36...

Unfortunately this did not resolve the issue, ClamAV remains on 0.102.2 and updates still failing with the cron email due to this, I will raise a ticket.
