Thanks, all sorted now, I didn't have the same ports set on my non-working server so I copied TCP_IN and TCP_OUT from within configserver security and it's now working perfectly.

Since you have root access to both machines, could you submit a ticket to our team so we could compare things on our end? Thanks, have done, ticket 94418840 and granted access to both servers.

Hi @cPRex - I use the main cPanel account details on all FTP connections. I have looked in pure-ftpd.conf at the passive ports and confirmed in my AWS security groups that these ports are open. ...

@cPRex - All sorted :) So once i'd re-associated my elastic IP to my new instance, I just needed to log in to WHM and change the IP in "Basic WHM Settings", then go to "change IP of multiple sites"...

No, only the Public IP which is then changed once I associate my elastic IP to it.

@cPRex - Thanks for your reply. There is not actually a change in IP, that's one of the huge benefits of AWS, it is an elastic IP which once I had mirrored my instance, I could disassociate the IP...
