Symptoms

Attempting to access "Select PHP" in cPanel gives the following error.

PHP Selector is not available. Please, contact your hoster.

Running /usr/bin/cldetect --check-license doesn't return OK.

Description

This is commonly caused by your server's CloudLinux license not being reported as OK. If you have an active CloudLinux license, you can update the CloudLinux license on your server to correct the behavior.

Workaround

1. Access the server's command line as the 'root' user via SSH or "Terminal" in WHM.
2. Reregister your server with CloudLinux's license server.

   /usr/sbin/clnreg_ks --force

3. Update the license file.

   /usr/bin/cldetect --update-license
