Introduction
This article provides the procedure to edit the configuration for FTP brute force protection in Imunify360 in WHM.
Please note that cPanel also offers a brute force protection feature called "cPHulk," which should not be confused with Imunfiy360's brute force protection service.
Procedure
- Log in to WHM as the ‘root’ user.
- Navigate to "Home / Plugins / Imunify360."
- Click the "Settings" (gear) icon.
- Scroll down to the "PAM" section.
- Enable or disable "FTP brute-force attack protection" as desired.
- To enable, add a check to "FTP brute-force attack protection."
- To disable, remove the check from "FTP brute-force attack protection."
- Click the "Save Changes" button.
