What is Raid?
Raid is a data storage virtualization technology that combines multiple physical disk drive components into one or more logical units.
There are three main types of Raid solutions:
- Driver and Firmware based
How to check your Raid status on your server?
To check your Raid status, you can use the following commands:
- cat /proc/mdstat
- cat /etc/mdadm.conf
- mdadm --query /dev/DEVICE

Also, it is possible to check your Raid device through your server management console.
To use the management console, please contact your hosting provider or server manufacturer.
