How to prevent CSF/LFD from sending email.

Introduction

This article provides the steps needed to prevent CSF/LFD from sending email.

Please note that CSF is a third-party application that is not provided or installed by cPanel. CSF is developed and supported by ConfigServer.

Procedure

1. Log into WHM as the ‘root’ user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Plugins / ConfigServer Security & Firewall."
3. Click the "Firewall Configuration" button.
4. Select "Login Failure Blocking and Alerts" from the dropdown menu.
5. Set the "LF_EMAIL_ALERT" value to "Off."
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
7. Click the "Change" button.
