Description
This behavior is because of a non-responsive third-party MariaDB repository/mirror.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-49089. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
- Backup the current configuration file "
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/mariadb.list". - Visit the following official MariaDB Page:
https://mariadb.org/download/?t=repo-config - Select the correct Operating System.
- Select the correct MariaDB version.
- Select the closest Mirror ot the server or go with the default selection.
- Follow the instructions to import the Key and modify the file "
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/mariadb.list" with the new configurations.
