Symptoms
Running AutoSSL for a user results in:
CONFIG_TEXT: Impediment: COMPLETELY_EXCLUDED: This website is completely excluded from AutoSSL.
Cause
All websites for the user are being excluded from AutoSSL.
Resolution
cPanel v132 and older
- Log in to the cPanel account for the user who owns the domain.
- Access Security / SSL/TLS Status
- Find the domain that you want included in AutoSSL.
Click on the blue link that says "Include during AutoSSL".
- Click the button that says Run AutoSSL
cPanel 134 and newer
- Log in to the cPanel account for the user who owns the domain that needs a certificate
- Access Security / SSL/TLS Certificates
From the Wizard tab, select the domain you wish to protect with an SSL. A DCV check will run automatically in the background.
Select Continue and choose Let's Encrypt Certificate to install a free certificate.
- When the DCV checks complete, continue through the prompts in the Wizard to issue the SSL.
