How to use File Manager to compress files and folders

Introduction

This guide will go through how to compress files and folders via "File Manager" in cPanel. 

Procedure

1. Log into the user's cPanel account.
2. Open the "File Manager" Application.
3. Navigate to the folder containing the files to compress.
4. Highlight the files and folders you want to compress.
   Please note that macOS users can use the "command ⌘" key to highlight multiple files simultaneously, while Windows and Linux users can use the "ctrl" key.
5. Click on the "Compress" button.
6. Select the compression type to use.
7. Verify that all the files and folders to compress are listed in the "Files to compress" list.
8. Scroll to the bottom of the "Compress" window.
9. Enter the name of the archive to create in the "Enter the name of the compressed archive and click Compress:" textbox.
10. Click the "Compress Files" button.
