How to show hidden files in cPanel File Manager

Introduction

By default, hidden files (dotfiles) are not displayed in File Manager. The "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)" option has to be selected in File Manager to view the hidden files.

Procedure

1. Login to cPanel as the cPanel user.
2. Click on the "File Manager" icon.
3. Click on the "Settings" button in the upper right corner.
4. Check the "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)" checkbox.
5. Click the "Save" button.
