How-To reserve IP addresses

Introduction

This how-to will show you how to reserve IP addresses in WHM.

This is useful if you do not want the system to automatically assign a specific IP address to a new account as a dedicated IP address.

Procedure

Use the Show/Edit Reserved IPs function located at:

WHM -> IP Functions -> Show/Edit Reserved IPs

To reserve an IP address, perform the following steps:

1. Select the checkbox next to the IP address that you wish to reserve

2. Click Save.
