Why do I see an accounts files in the old location after using Rearrange an Account in WHM?

Answer

When using the WHM Rearrange Account feature, a symlink is created at the old location in order to ease the transition. Often local site code will contain absolutate paths(ie, /home/cpuser/public_html/path/to/file.php) that would be unreachable when moving the files to a new home path. This is intended allows the continued functionality until the site owner is able to update these paths to the new location. While this will show the content as available through both locations, it only exists in the new path and uses no additional space.
