Symptoms
During the MySQL or MariaDB upgrade process no mysql or MariaDB-server packages cannot be found
Description
If the MariaDB or mysql packages are excluded in the /etc/yum.conf file this can cause the upgrade process to fail
Workaround
Remove the entries from the exclude section of the /etc/yum.conf, these are the defaults on a cPanel server:
exclude=courier* dovecot* exim* filesystem httpd* mod_ssl* mydns* nsd* p0f php* proftpd* pure-ftpd* spamassassin*
cPanel manages the MySQL and MariaDB versions, it's not recommended to exclude the packages using the /etc/yum.conf file
