Symptoms
After updating the system crypto-policies, the cPanel service is no longer connectable.
Description
Setting the crypto policy to future removes necessary security configurations to connect to cPanel, causing the service to fail to start after rebooting the server
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-51968. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
Change the crypto-policies back to default.
# update-crypto-policies --set DEFAULT
