PHPMyAdmin is not showing in WHM for the root user

Symptoms

PHPMyAdmin is not showing in the WHM interface for the root user.

Description 

PHPMyAdmin will not show up in the WHM interface if the MySQL service is disabled in cPanel's service manager.

Workaround

Enable the MySQL service in Service Manager or enable the service using the WHM API:

whmapi1 configureservice service=mysql enabled=1 monitored=1
