Hi, Try using cPanel backup with Additional destination as custom: Refer to the below link and check if that helps. Backup Configuration - Version 68 Documentation - cPanel Documentation

As I stated I need to backup to onedrive, the aditional destinations of cpbackup does not support onedrive thats why I am asking if anyone has tried this with rclone and if there is a script that can be used.

I don't see any way to login to OneDrive other than the Web Portal. How would you upload files if you have to use the website to do it? I've emailed OneDrive support to find out once and for all. :) You're not the first to ask about this on this forum. There's more to using OneDrive storage than just having unlimited storage plans. You need to be about to login and run a script, or connect via console or FTP or SFTP or something. AFAIK, you can't do any of those.

I use rclone to backup to onedrive and I've had it successfully working for the past week. If you set up rclone per their documentation, you add the following code to /var/spool/cron/root assuming that you ran the initial setup as root (I tried the built in cron in CPanel interface, but it didn't work, so I use this method). Per this

Why not just use JetBackup? Fully integrated into cPanel and give you and your clients more restore granularity :)

It's been seven years since this post, and other posts about OneDrive were started, and cPanel STILL hasn't natively integrated OneDrive as a backup option.  I know people have requested it a lot.  Is it that it's difficult to do, or is there some animosity toward OneDrive or Microsoft that keeps the developers from taking this seriously?

We have Microsoft for non profits.  We don't pay anything for the use of 25 accounts and many terabytes of storage with OneDrive/Sharepoint.  I am not interested in paying Google or Amazon or any of the other options available in cPanel's backup; i want to use OneDrive.  And yet the only options, in over 7 years is, "Use these other 3rd party things that will make it work."  Come on guys.

Daniel Carlson - I actually don't have any requests for OneDrive in our new features site at features.cpanel.net.  Would you like to submit a request there?  If not, I'd be happy to submit one for you!

I'm surprised since there's two or three threads about onedrive and people asking how to use onedrive with backup, and there's no requests.

I submitted a request for this feature.

I do see that one my end now and I've gotten that over to the backup team.  If I hear an update on that case I'll be sure to make a post.

Update - I talked with the backup team about this and this isn't work they are going to take on at this time.  Currently OneDrive is available in Plesk, but it has very low usage numbers, so at this point we don't believe that adding it to cPanel will provide enough benefit for many users.

I'm sorry I don't have better news on this one but I did want to provide an update.
