Hi was anything ever sorted for this? I enabled Mod_cpanel on a production VPS and it sent the load over 58. the system on has 3 cores so there was an extra 55 load..... I've disabled it, and cannot enable unless the issue is definitely resolved. Edit: I haven't submitted a ticket as I can't afford to reactivate mod_cpanel even for testing as its a production server. Just hoping there may be an easy solution to fix the load issues? I couldn't even find anything in the logs

Hello, Can anyone experiencing this issue verify if the Apache HTTP2 module is installed on the affected system(s)? You can check with a command like this: httpd -M|grep http2
Internal case EA-7387 is open to track reports of high CPU usage when mod_cpanel and HTTP2 are installed at the same time, however we've yet to reproduce the issue on a test environment. If you confirm that HTTP2 is installed, please open a support ticket and reference case EA-7387 so we can take a closer look. Once the ticket is opened, post the ticket number here and we will update this thread with the outcome. Thank you.

Hey, I can confirm I am also using http2 (and php-fpm) and the worker MPM but as mentioned before I will be unable to activate mod_cpanel as this is a production server and cannot risk further downtime :(

@cPanelMichael Thanks for the update The documentation for this is also pretty thin Apache Module: cPanel - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation Do you know if there are going to be any more details added? Would like to know exactly what mod_apache does before reactivating both out of curiosity and to try and predict any other potential issues

Hello @Nirjonadda, Could you let us know the output from the command below? rpm -qa|grep mod_cpanel
I'd like to make sure you are using the latest version of the RPM. Thank you.

Yes I think latest version because installed after yesterday EA4 release. I can not give you the output because I am uninstalled and no more plan for use.

We're happy to take a closer look in a support ticket. You can open a ticket using the link in my signature and then post the ticket number here. Note that we'll likely want to temporarily install the mod_cpanel RPM so we can monitor the system while it's enabled to see if we can determine what's leading to the high load average. Thank you.

Hello @Nirjonadda, This is something we could coordinate with you in a support ticket, as the best way to investigate the cause of the issue is to have access to the affected system when the load is high. Thank you.

This is correct. I have enabled this module yesterday and today started receving csf mails about high load. Disabling the module fixed the issue.

We are investigating this for @Nirjonadda as part of support ticket number 9467557, however we have not yet determined that it's due to the use of mod_cpanel. I'll update this thread with the outcome once that ticket is closed. Thank you.

Sorry, We have removed mod_cpanel and can not wait for long time because this production server, not development. Also mod_cpanel making high server load this reported by other user. So this not problem with my server. [QUOTE]We are presently escalating this inquiry to our Level 2 Analysts for a closer look. Please note that there may be an extended delay depending on availability for the Level 2 Analysts.
We are getting lot of high server load and we need disable mod_cpanel immediately. We can not wait more time for your investigating? mod_cpanel doing my site down, down and down. Thanks for your understanding.
