Domain has outgoing email disabled error message
Hi All
first let me say i have already read the other post based on the same issue and tried solution but no luck.
My story is we had a Domain transferred form one hosting company to another yesterday and then while i was changing the nameservers the old hosting company which the domain was still pointing too decided to be nice and suspend my account before I could transfer my old emails.
Once the nameservers changed over last night i was able to send and receive emails however on a different hosting site i have a another domain which has a forward set up to the an email account on the new hosting, when we send any messages to the email address on the other email domain we get a bounce back saying
"Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
boss@domain.co.uk
(ultimately generated from boss='andy@neomediamarketing.co.uk'>@domainwhichwetransfered.co.uk)
Domain domainwhichwetrasfered.co.uk has outgoing email disabled."
I tried the suspend and then enabling it again but i see get the same issue.
any ideas please would be ace
Many Thanks
Thallon

I'm struggling to get my head around the scenario. You moved a domain from host1 to host2, DNS has propgated and everything is working as expected. You have another domain on host3, which forwards emails to the aforementioned domain (now on host2), and this fails to deliver ? Can you send directly to that mailbox from such as gmail ? Maybe have a play with MXToolBox.com, this has all sorts of tools which may help diagnose what's going on. Although to be honest, it sounds to me that the forward is somehow being sent to host1, which no longer holds the domain. Maybe DNS hasn't fully propogated. 0 -
Hi @Thallon Does running the following whmapi1 function allow you to send mail? whmapi1 unsuspend_outgoing_email user=demo
Is the domain you're trying to send mail from listed in /etc/outgoing_mail_suspended_users? Thanks!0
