Insufficient disk space Upgrade Blocker question

Please bear with me since I am a small company that doesn't really have the resources to hire an IT guy. My emails have stopped sending and receiving. I am not sure if this has to do with the last attempt to update cPanel and WHM being blocked due to insufficient disk space or just the insufficient disk space. Top of my WHM page says CENTOS 6.10 kvm[serv] v10.0.26 Load Averages: 0.46 0.52 0.30 I use Vultr and it says my storage is 20 GB SSD with Bandwidth of 4.04 GB of 2000 GB. CPU is 1 vCor with 1024 MB RAM. I received the following messages. Severity Blocker Message FATAL cPanel & WHM cannot update due to insufficient disk space in the staging directory, '/usr/local/cpanel'. The system requires 3 GB to update; this directory only has 0.00 GB available. The system failed to find a new staging directory with enough space to update. You can either clear enough disk space or select a new staging directory with enough disk space at Update Preferences interface. FATAL cPanel & WHM cannot update due to insufficient disk space. The system detected 4.29 MB free, but requires at least 1 GB free at '/usr/local/cpanel' in order to successfully update. Please provide an explanation of the cPanel & WHM Upgrade blocker message and guidance or solutions. Thank you in advance.

  Hello @Robert S, Yes, the lack of available disk space on the system can prevent the delivery of email to/from your server, as well as block cPanel updates.   I have reviewed the documentation and am running the commands. I am not sure what to make of the information I get, though. This is probably a simple solution, but what is the best way to get more space?

As far as adding more space, the best approach is to first reach out to your hosting provider to verify the price and process adding space to your system. Thank you.

  Hello, You should run the "du" command in the "/" directory first to see which directory is taking the most space. EX: du -sh /*

  Thank you for your responses. I went with upgrading my plan with my hosting provider to increase my storage space. It worked. Here is the screenshot of the du -sh /* command 55221

  There is nothing unusual about you space usage. 20 GB is really just too small so going with the upgrade was the right way to go.

  @imatbagjagumilar - do you see the additional disk space in the WHM interface when you check Show Current Disk Usage?
