sure why not just mount your SSD volume as / an install your OS on it or if you cant do as you said you have a fresh install all ready installed just partition your volume with the added directories that cpanel uses IE: /usr/local/cpanel, /var/lib/mysql, /home, where most of your data resides How you do it is up to you

Both suggestions provided by @dalem would work in this case. @Frankenstone if you have any doubts about how to do this your provider should be able to assist you as well. Thanks!

Hello, sorry to answer this topic, but I have a question about it. I have a single volume with cPanel, so my idea would be to separate into two volumes, one volume would be the system with cPanel and another volume the user data, so as the usage increases, I would be able to better manage this other volume and also reduce some costs. Would you have a tutorial on how to do this? P.S .: As I already have the cPanel running all right, would it be possible to separate the data from existing users or would I have to redo the entire installation and configuration of volumes? (Today I have a volume of 500GB and I can't get it down on AWS) Thanks

@garbintecnologia - you could mount the additional drive as /home2 and use that for user data. That's a very common way for server owners to have multiple partitions for users.
