ftpd keeps on failing

Has anyone encountered this issue? Seems that it's happening more often to our server now. Need advice on how to fix. Thanks! Service Name ftpd Service Status failed ? Notification The service "ftpd" appears to be down. Service Check Method The system failed to connect to this service"s TCP/IP port. Reason Timeout while trying to get data from service: Died Number of Restart Attempts 8

  I just updated to 76.0.17 and I'm now having the same problem. I've had to replace Pure-FTP with Pro-FTPD to get the service to run again.

  But that's just a temporary fix I'm assuming? Pure has more pros than Pro, so sticking to Pro might give the server issues along the way, correct?

  Hello, Have either of you attempted to restart the server manually through CLI? /scripts/restartsrv_ftpd
  And if so what is the output when running that? Is anything noted in /var/log/messages
