cPanel AutoSSL Site Seals?
Hello,
Looking for some clarification please:
As with most now, we are using AutoSSL against all our sites. I was wanting to add in a site seal to some of our websites as I have developed a new payment form that's integrated with stripe and began looking into some seals I can display below it. Now I was planning on using something like the Comodo secure seal How to Download and Install Free TrustLogo from Comodo SSL - it does not verify even if you choose the "Free Certificate" option, I'm assuming again because it technically came through as a cPanel SSL.
So it would appear to me that using the Comodo / sectigo logo is perhaps wrong? And if so does cPanel have its own site seal we can use instead?
such as "secured by cPanel SSL" or something?
Any info would be great

I think that is a fantastic idea ! A seal that would disambiguate the certificate issuer by logically linking cPanel and Comodo/sectigo would bring a new level of credibility to the web site user. 0 -
As of right now, there is no seal in terms of AutoSSL. This, I think would make a great feature request @Greg M feel free to open one using the link in my signature. Once opened please share it here so everyone can vote/discuss as well. Thanks! 0 -
I know this thread is a couple years old, but recently I've been getting requests from customers asking if I can provide a logo and/or site seal embed link and came across this after searching around and checking the Sectigo (formerly Comodo) site as well. I know this won't be a high priority feature request but since the OP never started one and @cPanelLauren recommended it, I'm giving it a shot here - 0 -
I'll get that one approved soon! 0 -
Gotcha - other than that, I don't really have a "plan B" at this time, except to see what they say about that feature request. 0
