Roundcube and Horde are running very slow

Hi, CENTOS 7.6 v78.0.18, MariaDB 10.2., cPanel & WHM Version 78 CPU: ten cores Intel" Xeon" E5-2620v3 60 GB RAM ----------------------- I have severe problems with ROUNDCUBE and HORDE on my VPS server, which are responding very slowly. Every Cpanel account and every user on my server experiences slow loads let it be reading email via webmail, composing email or anything else related to it. I asked my VPS provider several times, what can be the cause for this and they found nothing. Everything else on the server works as it should and all is running smoothly. Except ROUNDCUBE and HORDE webmail use. Can you help me with this? Thank you

  Hello, We're experiencing the same issue. Everything works fine, EXCEPT roundcube and horde. Roundcube is on SQL-lite so it's not MySQL, and it seems to be related to PHP as access via IMAP / POP using an e-mail client is speedy. Would like to have a resolution on this soon!

  How much email is in the email accounts in question? What drive setup do you have? With 60GB of RAM, I would hope that you have SSD or NVMe drives.

  I have 100% SSD Email accounts: around 40 with 10 cpanel accounts/users on my VPS. It is a completely fresh install and completely new VPS. My old VPS which has exactly the same configuration (at the same VPS provider) has no issues at all. Suggestions are much appreciated

  Hello @34ever Can you tell me if the issue persists if you go to WHM>>Service Configuration>>Service Manager -> Disable PHP-FPM for cPanel daemons (if it's enabled) Can you also tell me if anything is noted in the cPanel error logs which can be found here: /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

  Hello, So the feature was actually disabled, and enabling it decreased the load time substantially. Thanks for the suggestion!
