There's not many more instructions on how to do this besides modify that file for your specific site template.

I'd love to reopen this as it does not seem possible to remove this footer link.

@lakimens - I tried using the "About Me" template and I am not seeing this footer. Can you let me know which specific template you're using so I can do some more testing?

Hi, yeah it doesn't seem to be there for that design. I was using the vCard ones as they're very useful since they also provide a vCard file to download. Thank you

Thanks for that clarification. The footer format is controlled in the /home/username/public_html/dist/main.js file, so that's the file you'd want to tweak to remove it.

Thanks, I'm aware of that as per cPanelLauren's message, but that file contains nothing other than obfuscated JavaScript, and I'm not sure if we're expected to edit that file... Is it even okay to remove this as per ToS?

Yeah, it's just one massive javascript file. I tried to adjust the footers on my side, but then the whole page wouldn't load, so there is likely more to it than just deleting one of the entires. Although I also don't claim to be proficient on Javascript. I can't comment on legal things. For an official answer you'd want to email legal@cpanel.net.
