Spam Sent from "Contact us"
Hi Folks,
We've got a contact us on our webpage thats managed by a thurd party, they want to charge us a silly sum to intergrate RE-CAPTCHA and here's out predicament.
On the contact us page it has the option to email us and these emails from from "hello@mydomain.com" is there a way in whm/cpanel to filter emails sent from this address through some kind of spam filter? we currently get 50+ spam emails a day from this address.
Thanks in advance.

My contact page has an email address ascociated with our web site. contactus@mydomain.com Does yours. ? The 50+ spam messages, are they coming from your contactus@yourdomain.com, or are these general spam coming from everwhere but. ? If the spam is coing from contactus@yourdomain.com, then these will be bots using your contact page to spam you. The only option would be some form of re-capture. If they are coming from everywhere else, then you could potentially use a filter in cpanel to block them. 0 -
If you have access to the coding of your contact page, you could try implimenting Recapture yourself. You'll need to sign up to Google for a free API key, and then add some code you your contact page. reCAPTCHA v2 "|" reCAPTCHA "|" Google Developers 0 -
If you can determine any form of pattern with the spam, then you could create a filter in cpanel. But if they are all random, filtering them could be difficult. Not the best fix, but renaming your url might make them go away for a short while. 0 -
Hello @LeeL, You could access cPanel and setup a Global Email Filter with a pattern or rules specific to these emails. The links below will help you get started: Global Email Filters - Version 80 Documentation - cPanel Documentation How to Configure Mail Filters - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Let us know if this helps. Thank you. 0
