    Backups are running fine, they mount and unmount the drive correctly. I"m talking about restoration, not backing up. Considering normal behavior, should WHM automatically mount the backup drive when the backup restoration section is accessed?

    Hello @Netcrusher, Thanks for clarifying. The Mount Backup Drive as Needed option in WHM >> Backup Configuration is applicable to the backup process only. It's not applicable to the restore process, and no functionality currently exists to automatically mount a drive prior to a restore action. I recommend creating a feature request for this functionality via our

    @cPanelMichael, There has been some evolution on this functionality ? I also use the backup via NFS and I use the "Mount Backup Drive as Needed" option and in the restoration I need to manually mount it and then go to WHM. Let me know if a feature request was created so I can vote and follow up...
