Forwarding email to gmail issue

Hello, I am a new French user of Cpanel. I am trying to forward my professional CPanel mails to my private mail box (Gmail) but it doesn't work. Can anybody help? Thank you

  How are you doing this. Are you creating a forward rule / global filter in Cpanel. or are you doing this via DNS and routing email to the gmail suite ? Do you see any errors anywhere, or bounce messages.
