Can I run PHP 7.1?

I am running some older software that the vendor had confirmed it has been tested with PHP 7.1 but not 7.2. Can I run 7.1 on WHM/Cpanel so it won't automatically updated to 7.2 or later and only update to the latest 7.1?

  Yes, you can run PHP7.1 on WHM/cPanel servers and it won't be automatically upgraded to PHP7.2 or later. The PHP7.1 is going to reach its end of life soon however you will get security updates until Dec 1, 2019. For details,

  Hello there, @jazee, The post from @Henry Carter is correct - you can install and run multiple cPanel versions through the EasyApache 4 tool in WHM. While there will be minor updates to PHP, such as going from PHP 7.1.25 to 7.1.26, cPanel never forces you to change the major PHP version. That is something that has to be done manually from the WHM or cPanel interface. If you need any more details about the EasyApache system just let us know!
