how do you createa DKIM string.
I'm considering moving DNS away from my server and having this performed on my registrar NameServers instead.
When I create DKIM on my own DNS, it creates a huge random alpha/numeric string.
However, when adding a DKIM on my registrar control panel, I've no facility to do this.
How would one create a DKIM string on a third party DNS or name server please ?

Inside the Cpanel for one of the domains, I found functionality to create a DKIM record, this displaye the following message. This system does not control DNS for the "xxxxxx.co.uk" domain. You can install the suggested "DKIM" record locally. However, this server is not the authoritative nameserver. If you install this record, this change will not be effective. Contact the person responsible for the "ns.123-reg.co.uk" and "ns2.123-reg.co.uk" nameservers and request that they update the "DKIM" record with the following:
Below that is the hostname and DKIM string that i've been looking for, so I'm on the right tracks. But when I try to add this as a TXT record on 123-reg, it compains that 'default._domainkey.xxxxxx.co.uk.' is not a valid hostname any other tips0 -
default._domainkey (without the domain name) appears to work 0 -
I'm glad to see you were able to get it sorted! 0
