Transfer Tool Syncing

Using the transfer tool can sometimes take hours based on what the network speed and diskio is being used. I was wondering if we did first transfer using transfer tool will it sync differences if we do it second time around?

  You can perform the migration of new accounts from the Transfer tool. If I am not wrong you can not perform the migration of accounts which are already hosted on the server through transfer tool. If you want to just migrate data with the fresh backup then take account full backup and restore it using cpmove (Home "Backup "Restore a Full Backup/cpmove File) and don't forget to check to Overwrite the existing user option.

  We don't currently have a "final sync" tool in place. It's something that's being discussed, but no official (or even unofficial) ETA of any kind. I prefer to use rsync if there is a significant delay between running Transfer Tool and when you can switch the DNS to the new machine.
