Cannot access Cpanel/WHM after SSH login attempts

I was trying to log in using SSH using PuTTy and after a few attempts, I suddenly couldn't connect to either Cpanel or WHM. My server provider had to whitelist my IP so I could access to Cpanel and WHM, I contacted them and they say that they IP is still showing as whitelisted. Have I been banned from Cpanel by any kind of firewall or other tool after a few attempts? How do I solve this? Best regards.

  Apparently the ban lasts for 24 hours. I'm now able to access it. Additionally, what was holding me from entering? Maybe fail2ban or similar?

  Hello, If you have fail2ban installed it could be the culprit but it could also be a result of cPHulk's brute force detection. If you've not whitelisted your local IP address you may want to do so to ensure that this doesn't occur again.

  I'd also suggest creating another point of entry. Maybe your home IP address
