    Hello, There are a few plugins that can be found here that do server monitoring: cPanel App Catalog :: Result for "monitor" Otherwise there are a number of services like Uptime Robot | Free Website Monitoring or on server tools like Nagios that do this as well.

    I Use UptimeRobot. It doesn't integrate with Cpanel as such. It's an external server, which monitors SMTP, HTTP and Ping (configarable) It will email or tweet you if it detects any issues. I've been using it for a few years, it's generally pretty good.

    The problem with an uptime monitor that runs on your server is that if your server is down, then so is the monitor. You should look at the options above for an external monitoring solution to get good data.

    Good catch. Exactly the reason I dont have UptimeRobot email me on my server, but my gmail instead.
