too many messages

Hi, i have a nice list with mailman, unfortunatly there is an host don't accept mail after some sends. i think i must reduce delivery time... SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 451 too many messages, slow down. [smtp-25.iol.local; LIB_650] how can i accomplish this? thanks !!!

  There really isn't a way to slow down mailman lists mail, the only way you would be able to slow down the delivery would be to separate users into separate lists and stagger sending them. You could send messages in digest form if your users don't need them immediately but you'd end up with the same issue when it is eventually sent out.

  thanks for reply Lauren, so if mailman can't do this ,do you know if is it possible to find a workaround using some exim options ? thanks

  There's not a way to do this because of how exim queue's mail, it's designed to deliver mail as fast as possible. Your best bet would be something like MailChimp, Mandrill, MailGun, etc. there are a ton of them out there.

  If you go down this route MooSend is extremely competative on price.
