Hello, There is not a flag to bring this back on newer versions of cPanel & WHM you should not be seeing the FileZilla configuration any longer as we stopped promoting configurations with FileZilla in favor of CoreFTP for windows and Cyberduck for Mac. In v84 we removed any references to FileZilla remaining in the product. You can still use FileZilla should you chose to, there is nothing preventing it from working.

Thanks for answering my question, Lauren - I'm just curious about why this was done? Are these paid placements that Filezilla stopped paying for, or do you think Filezilla is a bad choice? If the latter, I'd like to know why.

Hello, They're not paid placements. From my understanding decision was based on concerns in regard to business practices on FileZilla's part, in fact, we don't use them in house to test FTP at all either.

Hi @cPanelLauren Can you elaborate on the "business practices on FileZilla's part" ? We are starting to get confused customer tickets, about the missing configuration on new servers. Is it related to the "Broken Clients Compatibility" setting in "FTP Server Configuration" ?

Hey there, @AzeDK Lauren doesn't hang around the forums too much anymore, but I'd be happy to help. A while back, Filezilla had some compromised installer packages that led to malware being installed on client machines. Many organizations now are classifying the software as malware, including Sophos: FileZilla FTP Client - Viruses and Spyware - Advanced Network Threat Protection | ATP from Targeted Malware Attacks and Persistent Threats | sophos.com - Threat Center In version 84, we removed references to Filezilla to encourage our users to move away from that tool. That can be seen in our changelogs here under case CPANEL-29154:
