Hi, If you'd like to preventing creation of certain domains, please follow the instructions here: How to Prevent cPanel Users from Creating Certain Domains | cPanel & WHM Documentation 0 -
Hi, just out of curiosity, does anyone know if wildcards work in this file? For example: *xxx.* *xxx*.* xxx*.*
or maybe plain "xxx" in the file would block it in domain name (and sub) entirely? It says: "Only add domain names and TLDs to this file ", so I bet nope... Would be nice though :) - Wallu0 -
@Wallu - let me do some testing on that and I'll find out :D 0 -

So the docs page does say this: "For example, if you list the example.com domain, users also cannot create the sub.example.com domain." so that would cover any form of *.domain.com by default. I did try doing "totallyrandom.*" and it still let me create "totallyrandom.com" on the server, so it appears wildcards are not supported at this time in that file. This sounds like a great idea for a feature request though, which you could submit using the link in my signature. 0 -

Will do actually, I think this could be at least somewhat useful feature. Might not be able to do this right now, but come Monday, I will. Thanks! - Wallu0
