Email will not send or receive
I have cpanel installed, I have an email account, but I'm unable to send or receive emails. I originally never had this problem and one day it started happening. I'm not sure how to fix it. I'm not quite sure how to check the logs either. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

What happens when you try and send mail? As your profile indicates you're a website owner you wouldn't be able to check the logs but you would be able to check cPanel>>Email>>Delivery Tracker which should show errors on what's happening to your mail 0 -
Hi SpectreHavoc You need to give us a few clues. I could say that my car doesn't start, what is the problem. It could be a multitude of issues. What are you using to send emails, Outlook, Thunderbird, Or some other mail program, webmail etc. 0 -

When I check the delivery tracker it shows me what I sent as a picture "firstss" which seems to say it's accepted but in the info panel it shows the other picture i posted "secondss". In the "Delivered to:" section it displays exampleurl@exampleurl.com whereas, the intended recipient email is admin@exampleurl.com.0 -

im trying to use cpanel, not using an external service to send emails. i thought about this fixing the issue but typically 3rd party email services charge money depending on how many emails are sent out.0 -
Hello @SpectreHavoc It would be difficult to determine what the problem might be without knowing which domain names are involved and where they are hosted. This sort of information is sensitive and we prefer not to have users expose their sensitive information in our forums. With that in mind, you are welcome to submit a ticket using the link in my signature so we can investigate further. I believe keat63 was attempting to determine if you were using some standalone email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird on your desktop computer or smartphone, for example, as problems could possibly be introduced by the configuration of such a mail client. Based on your response, I understand you are likely generating the message via the Webmail interface in cPanel. You've reported that the Delivery Tracker shows the final recipient as exampleurl@exampleurl.com whereas the intended recipient was admin@exampleurl.com. Do both of these email addresses exist within the same cPanel account? Have you configured any email forwarders in this cPanel account? ( 0 -
The way I would go about this initially would be to rule out any other software. eg: Outlook, Thunderbird, Mobile Phone etc. Try sending directly using webmail, www.yourdomain.com:2096 As a website owner, your service provider should really offer some form of support on this, however, depending on who you are hosted with, depends on how good their support is. 0
