Problem with addpop - Error Sorry, the given email address alexandra.hebert@domain.org is invalid

I'm creating a tool in Wordpress to handle all our customers and deploy in WHM. I can create email with addpop but if the email has a dot like alexandra.hebert, I receive that error: Sorry, the given email address, "alexandra.hebert@domain.org", is invalid. THank you!

  I am having this issue also. Sorry, the given email address, "@example.com", is invalid This doesn't change no matter what parameter I change.

  @jwhm - if your email address also using a "." in the first portion?
