    There haven't been any updates on this internal case yet but I will update this thread when there are.

    I checked the case and spoke with that team and there currently are not plans to implement this. The case is still open, but it's not actively being worked on at this time.

    Is it possible that, if they can't implement this, that they can at least find a workaround? I've tried an awful lot of stuff to get this installed, and it is pretty stubborn. :-) Thanks! dg

    The only workaround available would be to build a custom RPM as mentioned in Lauren's post.
