Receiving my own email content from unknown email address
I'm receiving my own email content which is a valid content from some unknown email addresses, I've already blocked some email addresses in spam filters and also blocked most of the regions in the firewall but I'm still facing the issue. If someone else was facing this issue and resolve it then let me know the solution too.

Are you sure it is an unknown email address? Maybe you are confusing a system mail. just recheck once or twice I guess.0 -

Yes, all those emails are from unknown email addresses and they even use my name on those emails which is the most confusing thing in it.0 -
Could you elaborate a little more, what your'e saying doesn't help to fully understand the issue. 0 -
Maybe a screenshot of the email and the headers in this case even. Because I am not understanding how you would receive your own emails back to you unless it's a response or a miscommunication here. 0 -

Let me explain this scenario with a screenshot. As you can see in the attached screenshot that name and email content is mine but the sender email address is unknown.0 -
Ok, so the issue is that you're receiving mail that appears to originate from you but does not correct? What's in the email headers for these emails? 0 -

Sorry for the delayed response. No, the issue is that the email content mine but the sender email address is not mine, and the header is also correct, these emails are being generated from the mentioned (which is not mine) email addresses.0 -
A screenshot of the message content doesn't really help to be honest. If I posted an image of my car engine, could you tell me what's wrong with it? We really need to see the message headers. Is the email you receive identical to the one you sent. I see on the screenshot 2 x attachments Message, which looks like a paste of an original email maybe ?? And form.doc. Is this what your ordiginal looks like. 0 -

I have the same problem. I believe it is some spoofing. He takes old conversations and adds them to the message to make it look real. It looks like it's a new attack. Look the images. The name is real, but the sender's email is random and valid.0 -
So this is a copy of a message which you recievied months ago and not which you ? I'm guessing that there is some form of Virus floating about, whether this be on your side, or your senders side, which copies all the data and resends it. Although, looking at the actual message, I'm struggling (at this point) to see what the hook/bait might be. I'm intrigued, but don't profess to know the answer. 0 -
Even I am facing this issue from last 2 days. Receiving a copy of old email from a random sender. Is there a way to block this type of email? 0 -
Im having a similar issue... My site sends mails to users to announce certain stuff about the website itself. But lately, my site users' are receiving fake mails copying the content of a random old mail and adding an attachement (a virus or something like that I guess) and I am pretty confused. Any tips to prevent this kind of stuff? 0 -
This really depends on the headers of the message and whether or not you've got any spam protection enabled. 0
