forwarder and delete original

Hi, I have a valid email address and set up a forwarder so emails are automatically sent to a third party email software. The issue is the original email stays in the user mailbox. On two other server setups (valuehost and zimbra) I have seen a forwarder/redirect option setting 'remove local copy of message' so it never reaches the original mailbox. Any way to activate that through cpanel? The end result each user mailbox can maintain a low quota. Or would I have to set up a cron job? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. yesmaybe

  Maybe an email filter will do what you want rather than a forwarder. Filters have a few more options available to you. Something along the lines If to contains 'your email address' then redirect to 'some other address' and discard message

  That's a brilliant idea thank you. The 'redirect' option on the email filter is ideal, and so much more robust than the general forwarder.
