How to set the name of the email sender
Hello,
This might be a silly question... but... how do I set the "from" attribute in email accounts?
Let's say I have an account like george @ our-company.com.
How do I make it so people who receive emails from that specific account can see the email comes from "George from Company X", or whatever?
Seems right now people can only see the email they receive email messages from... but not WHO is sending those emails. :)
Couldn't find a text field to set that up.
I appreciate your help.

For webmail: Login > Settings > Identities > select email account > Add Display Name
If you are using any third-party mail client then you will have to edit the account settings to add "Your Name" For example Outlook:File > Account Settings > Select email account > Change > Add Your name

do you have another way?. Thanks0 -
If the sender is root, the above instructions would not apply. What is sending those messages?
