Updating files not taking effect

Hello I'am facing an issue from about 2 weeks, on about 10 cpanel servers i work on. When i modify a php script using File Manager or even ftp, i should refresh several time to take effect, even if i delete the file, it still execute and after several refresh or i added a parameter to the url, it gives 404. I know this may hapen with html or any static file, but is not normal to be on php files Is anybody facing this issue?

    Hello, We have not had any reports of users experiencing this type of issue. I also tested this on my server editing a PHP file and saw the changes take effect immediately. Are you running any type of caching application such as Varnish?

    I also haven't seen this behavior on my end, and I just tested this with one of my personal sites by adjusting the PHP. After a refresh, using a browser where caching is disabled, the page changed instantly for me. Do you see the same behavior if you make the change, and then open a new private/incognito window? Private browsing changes how cache gets handled, so if you don't see the behavior there it seems like local caching may be to blame.

    I hate digging up an old topic; I've experienced this now twice on my server. I don't remember how I cleared it the first time, but now its driving me nuts - again. A "quick manual fix" is to change the PHP Version of a domain. I have this happen to one of my domains on the server - no matter what I do, uploading a file, creating a folder or updating a PHP File - no effect at all. No caching solution is enabled and on the subdomain, wich uses a different root-folder, I have no problem at all. This definietly has to be some sort of server-side caching, as PHP Files are not meant to be cached and run only serverside. Tried fiddling around with my .htaccess file and found that no matter what I do, I can not get it to change. Mind you, if I look from the backend, through the file manager, it definietly shows the file(s) have changed.

    Do you have any caching tools installed on the main server-side? The most likely one would be Nginx as that is supported by cPanel and available through EasyApache, but there are other tools available.

    No, I have checked multiple times. It runs on apache 2.4, NGINX is not enabled at all. (static pages, mostly) It's all-in-all a default installation. Wich makes me furious, as I still am facing the issue. But literally just with this one domain (account). All the others work fine - the Account mentioned also uses all default settings. Just as its subdomains, wich curiously aren't facing any problems.
