Adress Rejected 550 5.1.1
Hi, I've created many webmail account on Cpanel for my domain name, the first two are perfectly working, but today I need to create a new one, impossible to get it workin.
I've created a mail account as I always do, and a Forwarder too, but this time I can reach my new account with a mail test.
I received an error back "smtp04.topdns.com has rejected your mail" and "the adress is not found make sure it exists". This is weird because I can access the Roundcube mailbox and everything. And as I said the two other accounts are still working.
I'm not a technical guy, so I'd like to find some clear solutions and clues.
Thanks in advance.

Hey there! Is "smtp04.topdns.com" the name of your local machine, or is that the name of the remote server you were trying to send the message to? If you can get us some more details about the incoming and outgoing tests you performed we can likely get you better information. 0 -
Hey cPRex, just figured it out. Actually, I've forgot to create the mail redirection in the dns record (directly in my registrar). So now it's working. Have a good day 0 -
Glad you got it figured out! 0 -
Hello, I have a problem with receiving emails since yesterday, I can send them but not receive them. From the cpanel panel it gives me this error SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:: 550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. @davide80 - can you try checking the cPanel >> Email Routing setting to make sure that is pointed locally? 0 -
I thank you. You were right. I don't understand just how this setting has changed. 0 -
Good morning, I thought I had solved it, but another problem popped up. now it sends emails to the same domain but if I send an email from another domain it gives me an error. 0 -
I'm not sure how that setting would have changed either. With the odd issues you're experiencing, it might be best to submit a ticket to our team so we can take a look at this behavior for you. If you're able to do that, please post the ticket number here so I can follow along. 0
