Roundcube update password in databe but password in etc/shadow
I have problem because i use roundcube in my serwer. But my serwer holds password in file etc/shadow. When i will change password, password was change only in database. Dou you have any solutions ?

I want each of users can will change password in yourself email box. I don't want use webmail because i can't set style panel login. 0 -
Are you saying you have a different installation of Roundcube on your server than the one provided with cPanel? I'm not completely clear on what the issue is with the details provided here so far. No, I have roundcube one provided with cPanel. I found information how enable change password in roundcube (How do I enable password changing in Roundcube?) I know passwords isn't in data base. They are in file etc/mailbox/shadow. Can you help my how i do it ? 0 -
Thanks for the additional details. It sounds like you are looking for a way to have users directly edit their password through the Roundcube interface, without logging into cPanel at all - is that correct? 0 -

Thanks for that last bit of clarification. There isn't a way to do this directly from Roundcube as they would need access to the domain.com/webmail page to change the password. While there are password changing plugins available for Roundcube, we don't test any of those with cPanel tools so I can't say for sure how well those work. 0 -
