Account migrated to new cPanel server, but we reverted the change. Now the site is 404.

I migrated an account to a new cPanel server but due to some performance issues I am troubleshooting I have had to temporarily revert the move of that account. The DNS for that domain is managed externally, so I reverted the DNS change I manually made and now the domain points to the old server. The account is loading a 404 for all URLs. I did re-enable the account as the migration automatically disabled it, and I also replaced the new IP with the old IP in the DNS zone for that domain on the old server. The error log isn't showing me much other than the 404s themselves, but the files are all there and intact. I also commented out the lines in the automatically generated htaccess that redirected any request to the "this site has moved" page, but that wasn't even working either as I never was redirected to the moved site page. Permissions on the home directory appear to be normal, so i am not sure what else the problem could be and it seems like the transfer tool did a whole lot of stuff that may need to be reverted. Not sure if it makes a difference, but the account that was migrated was a reseller account with full system privs.

  Glad to see that @keat63's suggestion helped you! The issue that you experienced is a result of the Live Transfer option in Transfer Tool. Live Transfer replaced the Express Transfer option in Transfer Tool, and cannot be disabled by default. If you need to perform additional migrations using Transfer Tool then we would recommend disabling the option to prevent further problems for your users. We have some information on disabling it here if needed:
