    After having gone through this, you may NOT want to follow that article. If you remove the older kernels from the RPM database (as far as I'm aware) they will never get physically removed as newer kernels get installed. Depending if/how big your boot partition is, that could cause problems down the line. We opened a ticket with CloudLinux and the suggestion that we got was to exclude iproute* from yum updates (short term). They said the old iproute will work with the new kernels but the new iproute won't work with kernels older kernels.

    Just add it to the exclude line in /etc/yum.conf You'd add iproute* to the end (there should already be a list of things that are excluded).
