Application links go to incorrect account

Hi all, One of my customers informed me today that when they click on any of the account related links in cpanel such as "Invoice history" they are redirected to WHMCS however it logs them into a different/random user account. They then have full control of this other account. I have disabled the application link between cpanel and WHMCS for now. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas how to rectify? Thanks
