Hey there! I haven't come across one yet that has been stuck in the scanning state. Do you see anything odd in the cPanel error logs at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log while this is happening?

Thanks for the reply @cPRex. I've checked through the error log and don't see anything out the ordinary. Although I may not be 100% what to look for. Searching the log for WordPress flags up a number of lines (below) which keep repeating. But that looks like informational text, not an error. That log entry looks more like info as part of an update, and wouldn't be related to your issues. If this is still happening on your system, could you submit a ticket to our team so we can take a look? If you do that, please post the ticket number here so we can follow along and keep the community updated.

I have the same problem here, I cannot install any other WordPress or delete or anything, please some help. Edit: I couldn't find any possible way to make it work so I deleted all files from CPanel... still don't working, now I can't restore file manager or WP toolkit or anything, WordPress toolkit has the same screen and it won't let me do anything even when I have updated everything manually and then deleted all files... it is still stuck on the same screen, I asked my hosting provider to reset it all.

@onixqwert - with the files removed from the account, I don't really have any advice I can provide. Let us know if your host is able to get that resolved on their end with the restoration.

@cPRex Sorry for reuploading the topic, but it's the same issue. I have the status "Scanning for WordPress websites 72% " stopped for several months. How do I stop this task and be able to run new scan tasks?

Would you be able to open a support ticket with the link in my signature or ask your web hosting provider to do so on your behalf? This warrants an investigation. Provide me with the incident ID once done if you do.

    Hi

Do you had any luck with this? I am also stuck at scaning wordpress sites at 53%. And to mass enable one plugin first I must mass disable other plugin and i can't do that because it first has to scan wordpress installations since its new server. Can i force stop that and start again maybe?

I can not open ticket because I purchased licence (200) over datacenter

    Thank you

It works. Maybe a lot of hours but it got to the end. I got lucky. But maybe server reboot stops the script...
